Portland State University is located on the Southern edge of downtown Portland. It is approximately bounded by Market Street on the North, I-405 on the South and West, and 5th Avenue on the East. The Fourth Avenue Building (FAB), which contains the Computer Science Department, is east of the main campus at 1900 SW 4th Ave., Portland, OR 97201. It is just north of the City of Portland's tower at the same address. The underground parking garage entrance is just south of the tower, on the right side of the street; you encounter it first, about a block from the I-405 exit
