Knife Edge Measurements
In order to determine the Gaussian probability distribution of the beam, a set of measurements by using knife edge has
been conducted.
We recorded the total power in the beam as a knife edge is translated through the beam using a
calibrated translation stage. At each position of the knife the received power is recorded.
LOS measurements, Using collimating lense on Rx, and convex lens on Tx.
The following set of measurements use a collimating lens on the receiver and a convex lens on the transmitter.
The following equipment was used for depth of field testing using diffraction.
